We are a traditional German restaurant located at the historic Döhrener Tower in Hanover. We have retained our rustic ambience to this day. We are also perfect as an excursion destination due to our location. In the warmer season, our beer garden invites you to linger in comfort.

We had dinner with a group of 8 people in the restaurant's beer garden on a Friday evening in beautiful weather. The menu in the restaurant and beer garden is identical. We had meat dishes throughout, such as steaks and ribs, and all 8 of us were completely satisfied. The meat was of a very good quality and perfectly grilled. The side dishes such as fresh chanterelles were plentiful and very tasty.

Anyone expecting "just" a good beer garden will be pleasantly surprised here. Of course there are dishes and drinks with a Bavarian touch, but the meat comes from regional, species-appropriate animal husbandry and is supplemented by seasonal offerings. Recommendation: leave room for the delicious desserts and the schnitzel from the straw pig is excellent.

At least once a year, the Vier Jahreszeiten is the place to be when visiting Hannover. It's a bit out of the way, but the garden makes it more appealing in summer. The fillet steak is stunning - tender and cooked to perfection. The side dishes are always fresh. The fact that the mousse always fits in at the end must be due to the excellence. The wines are top. All in all, well worth the price and highly recommended.

The food was prepared quickly and freshly and the service was very courteous. Reasonably priced!

Location/Arrival

Our restaurant with German cuisine is located directly at the Döhrener Turm, right next to the Eilenriede and only a short distance from the Maschsee. You can reach us easily via the train lines 1-2-8 to the Döhrener Turm. You can also park in the residential areas around the Vier Jahreszeiten.
